Nesli Tehlike Altındaki Hayvanların Yaşam Koşulları ve Habitatları — Ders Notu

Temel Kavramlar

habitat → doğal yaşam alanı natural environment → doğal çevre food source → besin kaynağı shelter → korunak/barınak survival → hayatta kalma breed → yavrulamak/üremek habitat loss → doğal yaşam alanının yok olması

Hayvan – Habitat

polar bear → Arctic chimpanzee → forests sea turtle → ocean animal tiger → jungle great white shark → ocean whale → marine environment penguin → icy regions bald ibis → natural habitats / protected areas

Polar Bear

Past: Arctic Sea ice was bigger and thicker forty years ago. It was easier for polar bears to hunt.

Present: They need to swim longer distances to find food.

Tigers

• live in jungles
• hunt deer and small animals
• need safe environments
• need food sources
• safe environments are necessary to breed and care for young

Marine Animals

Great white shark:

• ocean animal
• overfishing affects population

Whale:

• ship noise creates difficulties
• sea pollution harms health
• fishing nets restrict movement

Penguins

• live in icy regions
• melting ice causes longer travel for food
• some species raise chicks in rocky areas
• rocky areas do not provide complete safety

Bald Ibis

Past:

• thousands in North Africa, Middle East, Türkiye

Present:

• only a few hundred
• a few protected areas
• one protected area in Şanlıurfa

Problems:

• habitat destruction
• lack of food source

Past Habitat Language

was / were

Arctic Sea ice was bigger and thicker.

Question: What was the habitat like in the past?

Sık Karıştırılan Noktalar

• habitat / shelter
• habitat / food source
• Arctic / icy regions
• jungle / forest
• ocean / marine environment
• habitat loss / population decline
• was / were
• past / present conditions

Kısa Özet

Ana ilişki:

**animal → habitat → living conditions → survival**

Habitat değişirse food, movement, breeding ve safety etkilenebilir.
